Mini crane for efficient bricklaying under the ceiling

Compact, fast, efficient: that's the X-REX®

Where others reach their limits, the X-REX® mini crane is just getting started. Whether sand-lime brick, aerated concrete, or other large-format blocks: the X-REX® grips powerfully, lifts up to 350 kg effortlessly, and places the bricks with millimeter precision—even 15 cm below the ceiling. This makes mechanical bricklaying not only more ergonomic, but also significantly faster.

Its compact design makes it the ideal helper on every floor. Collapsible, it can be transported by construction elevator, maneuvered through doors, and used in confined spaces. Whether in classic solid construction or skeleton structures, whether interior or exterior walls: the X-REX® increases productivity while saving the team's energy.

With a load capacity of up to 350 kg, a construction height of up to 4.2 m, and a well-thought-out operating concept that focuses on the user's needs, one person is sufficient to control it.
This means that a small team can replace up to six bricklayers with the X-REX® mini crane – while maintaining a consistently high level of precision.

Whether in confined spaces or when building walls directly under concrete ceilings, the X-REX® is the perfect solution for modern construction sites that focus on productivity and cost-effectiveness.

X-REX® in action

Carry less, achieve more: with the X-REX® mini crane

The compact mini crane for precise bricklaying under ceilings – energy-saving, efficient, and perfect for modern construction sites. Unbeatable advantage: The X-REX® can be operated directly from the hook. This means that one person can prepare the materials below, while the person above can place the building blocks precisely without having to change position unnecessarily – even 15 cm below the ceiling!

Swinging directly at the load, up and down as well as back and forth – this is only possible with the X-REX®.

  • Precise placement of stone blocks up to 15 cm below the ceiling
  • Flexible transport thanks to battery-powered pallet truck
  • Compact, mobile, and collapsible
  • Effortless positioning of weights up to 350 kg
  • Weighs only 1,030 kg: The X-REX® can be maneuvered in confined spaces
  • Can be transported by construction elevator, crane, or forklift
  • Compatible with large-format stone system
  • Hand-guided manipulator
  • Can also be operated directly on the hook!

Compact format, big results.

The X-REX® was designed for construction sites with limited space. With its compact dimensions, it can be easily maneuvered through rough-built doorways and placed even on cramped floors. Yet it still has everything you need for mechanical bricklaying with large-format bricks – power, reach, and precision.

Whether in confined spaces, in building shells, or under low ceilings: the X-REX® delivers its full performance exactly where large machines can no longer reach. And all this with a weight of only around 1,030 kg, transportable by elevator, forklift, or crane.

Small in size, big in results. This is exactly what makes the X-REX® the ideal helper for modern construction projects.

Operating range

The gripper arm allows work to be carried out up to 15 cm below the ceiling.

What sets the X-REX® apart

Innovative operation directly at the load

The switchable operation of the hand-guided, hydraulically assisted X-REX® is what makes this mini crane so special. Precise positioning of bricks directly at the load hook – only with the X-REX®!

Compact wall crane for confined construction sites

The X-REX® is a particularly compact mini crane that is ideal for confined construction site conditions. Thanks to its narrow design, it fits easily through shell doors and can be set up flexibly on upper floors – perfect for mechanical bricklaying in shell constructions.

Efficient bricklaying under the ceiling

With its special gripper, the X-REX® enables precise bricklaying up to 15 cm under the ceiling. Ideal for wall finishing indoors and outdoors, even with low ceilings or complex floor plans.

Ideal for large-format bricks

Whether large-format sand-lime bricks or aerated concrete elements – the X-REX® is optimally designed for these brick systems and supports fast, clean, and ergonomic processing.

Reduces physical strain

The mechanical placement process replaces the heaviest work involved in bricklaying. The blocks are placed directly from the pallet onto the wall—for greater occupational safety, less fatigue, and significantly reduced downtime for the team.

Saves time, personnel, and costs

A team with the X-REX® replaces up to six bricklayers when working with small-format bricks—with only two people and consistent quality. This means that the mini crane pays for itself in wall construction after only a short time.

Easy to transport

Weighing around 1,030 kg, the X-REX® can be easily transported to the respective floor using a construction elevator, tower crane, or forklift truck – for maximum mobility on multi-story construction sites.

Battery operation with 230 V mains connection

In battery mode, the X-REX® can be moved around flexibly. Wall operation is via a 230-volt power connection. This makes the X-REX® particularly energy-efficient and easy to integrate into your existing construction site infrastructure.

Easy to control. Flexible to work with.

The X-REX® impresses with its dual control option: the small crane can be controlled precisely both on the device itself and directly on the grab's control handle. This means maximum control when laying bricks mechanically, even in confined spaces or at great heights.

The integrated grab control offers decisive advantages:

  • One-man operation possible: particularly efficient for low wall heights
  • Precise placement of blocks directly on the masonry
  • Less coordination between two people necessary, as the grab operator reacts directly
  • Safe working on scaffolding for wall heights over 3 meters

Whether laying sand-lime bricks, aerated concrete, or other large-format masonry units: the flexible operation of the X-REX® gives you full control at all times – for a clean wall finish, faster workflows, and noticeably higher productivity on the construction site.
